Many artificial creations, including works of art,
are often designed with uniformity in mind—
to ensure a consistent experience,
whether on a sunny day or a rainy one,
and to provide the same comfort
even during snowstorms or heavy winds.

Yet, the “beauty” we encounter in our daily lives
does not reside solely in such uniformity.
It is also found in the subtle irregularities—
like clouds drifting lazily across the sky
as we lie on a grassy field,
like the flickering flames crackling during a nighttime campfire,
or like the fleeting rainbow glimpsed
through the train window after a passing rain.
These moments move us precisely because of their non-uniformity,
reflecting the unpredictable rhythms of nature.

This work was created to embrace that very imperfection.
It analyzes real-time data from the Meteorological Agency,
introducing gentle changes to the air that drifts like mist—
not aiming for precise control,
but instead allowing viewers to appreciate the beauty
that arises from non-uniformity.

The soundscape, too, reflects this philosophy.
It incorporates fragments of sound,
captured from the natural environment and urban life of Fukuoka,
which are continuously reassembled at random,
creating an ever-evolving, semi-perpetual soundtrack.
